This deck is somewhat unstable, but when it lines up correctly Griselbrand is a game ender FTW (For the Win). My first Griselbrand build was BG (Black Green) and it was even more unstable than this build.

Modern Tribes Counts
These are the tribes that to Theros set have at least ten members.
And these are the tribes that have five to ten members.

2013 Rotation Modern Decks
I am playing the cards I am either about to redeem or have bought as they rotate for future online play. These are the decks (some I will keep playing, some I will dismantle once I redeem the sets for this rotation).
1. Monogreen

Building up for Modern: The Staples
I will be adding to my Modern stock pile to play all types of fun decks; during this month because I have a lot of cards I am in the process of redeeming, and also in the long-term.
Here is $10 to the bots (October 8 and 9, 2013), especially to help my UR Delver, WG lifegain and monogreen decks.
Next, for $2, I added the more affordable artifacts from Modern Masters (October 12, 2013). This is my current stash including the cards I pulled from packs back when they were available.
Oct 15, 2013: $5 to the bots to have 3 or 4 of every common card in Modern Masters.
Also during the October 15, 2013 buying day: Adaptive Automaton from M12 and Doubling Season (both for $6.14)
I added some imprint and entwine cards....these cost me $15.
October 26, 2013: $10 to the bots to get all of the cheaper uncommons (and that's almost all of them), and a few rares.

[Modern] Blue Red Miracles
This deck started as White Blue Red, but I just could not make it work! Once I took out white and added a Scry artifact, it began to work much better. It is still just a casual deck, yet no less fun!
[Modern] Restoration Angel and Thragtusk
I didn't want to spend the big bucks and buy these cards when they were the centerpiece of a dominant Standard deck. Now I have them on the cheap and can play them in Modern casual. There is a very good reason why cards like Liliana of the Veil increase in price after they rotate and cards like Thragtusk decline significantly in price: the former is competitive in Modern and Legacy, and the latter is not in either of those formats! The best soulbond combo from Avacyn Restored is in this deck.
After completing my play set of Path to Exile, taking out Fog, and shifting the main deck a little, here is the more-optimized deck.

[Standard] Pre-Theros Grixis Deck
Three color decks with guild gates are painfully slow and clunky. At least in this deck I am using my four Blood Crypts, and playing from my complete play set of RTR block black cards!
