[Modern] Hardened Scales in green blue

This deck is a ton of fun. Never leave home without a play set of Mana Leak!

Here are a few wins.

And here a loss against Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker (ouch!) I must remember Farhaven Elf.

And not so casual. This deck is actually pretty fast and can win. I was able to beat a Tron deck decisively. This deck out-clocked it.

Here I take out Karn.

Here I outrun Phyrexian Arena after applying a Pacifism to Phyrexian Obliterator (what an awesome card!).

I even out-clocked a white-red deck.

[Modern] Hardened Scales Green Devotion casual

This deck is very smooth yet too casual for all those semi-competitive decks in Modern Just for Fun (the people who plays powered decks in Just for Fun are out to have fun all by themselves!)

I lost against a hexproof enchatments deck.

I also lost against a Zombies deck.

I lost against an enchantment deck with Shrines.

The trick of this deck is to play an artifact that voids the legend rule in order to play more than one copy of a given shrine.

Here I won against a Zombie deck also playing Hardened Scales.

[Standard] Abzan Competitive versus Abzan Casual

My opponent was playing the competitive version. I did not have much of a chance, but I had fun. The replay has faulty counters and would not go beyond turn 31....we played until we were almost out of cards. Here is the first Ajani ultimate.

Ajani's counters has a bug in the replay, but not in the game.

After two ultimates of Ajani my opponent is at 223 life.

I get rid of Ajani with the flying token from Abzan Ascendancy.

Elspeth drops a bunch of tokens. I was able to get rid of Elspeth and hit hard with my flying token that I boosted with my Bow of Nylea enchantment.

[Standard] Green Devotion with Villainous Strength second version

This version is a little more optimized and its ready for me to build a sideboard for it. I won 7 games and lost 10 in just for fun. I needed lots of flyer hate in the sideboard and a little more in the main deck. I have a counters sub-theme that sometimes helps.

I am playing this card to the max within the confines of very casual deck. The competitive build has cards I am not going to play for now.

Here is an unfair match-up against an even more casual deck. Here is Sultai Ascendency at work. 

I had already won the game by the time I dropped an X=11 Villanous Growth.

If an aggro deck chokes, I have a chance with this deck.

But on average the aggro deck will overtake me.

Any one of the many competitive decks begin developed with Elspeth are better than this deck. Here I got as far as stealing Sorin.

But then an Elspeth ultimate for the win (FTW) did me in.

Now with a few fixings from Khans of Tarkir, but not many.

Each one of these is from a winning game. The losing games are against money decks that will eventually move to tournament practice.
