Without a bunch of really good Goblins that I was hoping would be included, and except for some great money cards, this color feels like a missed opportunity to make a really awesome Goblin deck. Krenko, where are you?
Avarax: you need to pull more than one in Limited to make it worth it, and would play 4 in Constructed... I don't know.
Carbonize: Limited.
Battle Squadron: great with a bunch of tokens on your side of the field.
Borderland Marauder: Limited.
Bettleback Chief: tokens for Battle Squadron.
Burning Vengeance: hello, old friend!
Chain Lightning: nice include.
Desperate Ravings: more help from Innistrad block. You can tutor cards with Flashback in this Limited format.
Dragon Egg: Limited,
Crater Hellion: a solid sweeper when it enters the battlefield.
Dualcaster Mage: a Commander reprint. I would like to play it!
Faithless Looting: hello, old friend.
Firebolt: hello, old friend!
Ferven Cathar: another Limited helper from Innistrad block.
Ghitu Slinger: solid in Limited.
Flame Jab: solid in Limited.
Gamble: interesting card. I want to play it. If its a card with Flashback, its not so bad if it lands in the graveyard.
Honden of the Infinite Rage: Shrines! There isn't even a Shrines deck in Legacy! What gives?!
Keldon Champion: Another echo uncommon.
Kird Ape: a classic, and a fitting reprint.
Mogg Fanatic: core set Limited.
Keldon Marauders: solid in Red Deck Wins. A surprisingly good common in a set with so many Limited commons.
Mogg War Marshall: another token maker. Good for Limited.
Orcish Oriflamme: a nice boost for a too-heavy casting cost.
Price of Progress: very nice. A solid uncommon. I love cards that penalize players for greedy manabases.
Seismic Stomp: Limited.
Pyroblast: hello, old friend!
Reckless Charge: great card all-around. This set has great support for Red Deck Wins.
Pyrokinesis: that IS a nice effect. Part of the cycle Force of Will is in. Of course, red is NOT the color of Legacy. Still, a very nice card, and not as painful a pull as other rares in this set.
Rorix Bladewing: because every set needs a Dragon. Nice devotion!
Siege-Gang Commander: token maker, nice! A little heavy on the casting cost for Constructed, and a Limited bomb.
Stingscourger: nice battle trick in Limited.
Sulfuric Vortex: If you know you will be gaining a ton of life, or know you can burn your opponent for a lot of life, this should win you the game.
Sneak Attack: needs no introduction, and a fitting mythic. Sucks that it was not printed with its combo partner, Show and Tell, but Wizards needs to keep some value for the next Eternal Masters, and that makes sense.
Tooth and Claw: Black/Red reanimator should love this.
Undying Rage: a heavier version of Rancor. Nice effect!
Wildfire Emissary: Limited.
Worldgorger Dragon: interesting card, and another poster card for how much better creatures have gotten in the Modern era of sets.
Young Pyromancer: a great include. Very annoying to play against, and also very effective. You can even combine it with Intangible Virtue in Limited.

Eternal Masters Set Review: Black
I plan to have a lot of fun with the cards in this color. Black is not the color of Legacy, yet Wizards included many of the crowd favorites in this set. Let's go!
Animate Dead: must have! Now I can complete the playset.
Annihilate: Limited.
Blightsoil Druid: the Black/Green elf deck in this set is sooo awesome. Its the Origins deck with better tools.
Blood Artist: nice! Always a nice inclusion.
Braids, Cabal Minion: great artwork, a classic. Should have been an uncommon; still, a great card.
Cabal Therapy: One of the better uncommons in this set. Nice! Must have.
Duress: hello, old friend!
Carrion Feeder: more than just a limited card. I can see ways to abuse it in a reanimator shell.
Entomb: classic. I hope I get to build a reanimator deck now that the key pieces are getting reprinted in this set.
Deadbridge Shaman: Another black elf from Origins. Nice!
Eyeblight's Ending: Limited.
Honden of Night's Reach: Shrine deck incoming.
Gravedigger: hello, old friend!
Havoc Demon: Limited. The Shadows over Innistrad uncommons are better than many of the uncommons in this set.
Hymn to Tourarch: classic, a great uncommon.
Ichorid: solid rare. A great inclusion.
Innocent Blood: nice card. I wish more of the commons were this cool.
Lys Alana Scarblade: great artwork, and a great addition to the Black/Green elf deck.
Malicious Affliction: hope you pull a Daze in that pack. It would be really good as an uncommon.
Necropotence: like Balance, here to make up for the blue mythics, otherwise an odd inclusion.
Nausea: a solid common.
Nekrataal: a classic creature, and one of the better ones from an era of sucky creatures.
Phyrexian Rager: solid common from the Scars of Mirrodin block.
Night's Whisper: great common. Card draw at common is always great. Is drinking buddies with Read the Bones 2B (Scry 2, then draw two cards. You lose 2 life.)
Plague Witch: nice old school artwork. Limited.
Phyrexian Gargantuan: nice card draw, except its a six drop.
Prowling Pangolin: interesting Limited card.
Sengir Autocrat: those tokens will be very useful in Limited with Intangible Virtue.
Sinkhole: a rare worth a $10 pack. Very nice inclusion.
Urborg Uprising: Limited.
Tragic Slip: another great Innistrad block inclusion. Goes great with Blood Artist.
Skulking Ghost: Limited.
Toxic Deluge: another rare worth a $10 pack. Great inclusion! Can end games with Blood Artist.
Twisted Abomination: Limited.
Vampiric Tutor: great include. Mythic? Well, its Legacy, and we need non-blue/non-artifact mythics. I hope its cheap on MTGO.
Visara the Dreadful: in the great tradition of 6 drop black creatures with three black mana. A limited bomb, and lots of fun in any black devotion deck.
Wake the Vultures: Limited.
Victimize: reads very useful. I want to play it. It fits well in a reanimator deck.
Wakedancer: more from Innistrad. Limited.
Animate Dead: must have! Now I can complete the playset.
Annihilate: Limited.
Blightsoil Druid: the Black/Green elf deck in this set is sooo awesome. Its the Origins deck with better tools.

Eternal Masters Set Review: Blue
Ahhhh, the color of Legacy. This color definitely needs to be toned down to make limited work for this set. Ponder is missing, but Daze is in, and that's great. Let's get rolling.
Arcanis, the Omnipotent: solid, and a great bomb in Limited. Also good in constructed. That 'draw three cards' clause is awesome.
Brainstorm: a card not needing an introduction. If blue was to be balanced in Legacy someday, this card would have to go.
Cephalid Sage: fun card for UB reanimate. Limited.
Control Magic: a crowd favorite, and heartbreak to someone who paid $10 for a booster pack.
Counterspell: no introduction needed.
Daze: finally! Probably the most welcomed reprint in this whole set. The money uncommon of the set. If it comes in a pack with one of the many junk rares, it will make that other pull OK.
Deep Analysis: Limited.
Diminishing Returns: yeah... hope you pull a Daze in the same pack, or else....
Dream Twist: Limited.
Fact or Fiction: a crowd favorite and the template for many other cards and Planeswalker abilities.
Force of Will: I hope I pull one in one of my lottery tickets, and I hope it goes below $15 online.
Future Sight: so much fun I have had with this card! Its one of my favorite Magic cards of all time. The trick is to play it with card draw with Flashback.
Limited, moving on.
Limited and a Shrine.... moving on.
Hydroblast: it would be a much better card if it was red and both choices said 'blue' instead of 'red'.
Inkwell Leviathan: OK, I guess. Hope you pulled a Daze in that pack.
JTMS: the one and only. If you have not played this Planeswalker, this is your chance. Do it! You won't regret it. In this set, those three uncommons will be worth pulling if you pull a JTMS.
Jetting Glasskite: Limited.
Man-o'-War: this could be the only common in the set that is not limited jank.
Memory Lapse: Griptide for two mana instead of four, I will take it. This could be the other common in the set that is not limited jank.
Oona's Grace: Limited.
Merfolk Looter: a common in several core sets....ouch, these uncommons hurt BAD, and in a $10 pack!
Mystical Tutor: great all-around. Great art, great card, great flavor text. I need it!
Peregrine Drake: Limited.
Limited.... moving on.
Limited.... moving on.
Quiet Speculation: this is a solid card and I want to play it!
Serendib Efreet: hope you pull a Daze out of that pack.
Limited.... moving on.
Sprite Noble: very useful, for sure. I wish more of the uncommons other than Daze were like this card.
Tidal Wave: Limited.
Stupefying Touch: Limited.
Warden of Evos Isle: would be really good in Modern. In Legacy... its probably Limited jank.
Wonder: in the great tradition of terrible Legacy creatures, yet I could see it be a very fun creature for kitchen table play.
Arcanis, the Omnipotent: solid, and a great bomb in Limited. Also good in constructed. That 'draw three cards' clause is awesome.
