Got my Zombies, let's see what Red has to offer.
Abandon Reason: Reads like a common.
Bold Impaler: Seems really good. It can be pumped for a lot. Make it unblockable in Modern, generate a ton of red mana, win.
Alchemist's Greeting: Limited.
Bedlam Reveler: Oh, this is good. Now I want to build an instants and sorceries deck with this in it. It screams Flashback.
Blood Mist: A little heavy for the effect, yet I like this thing of making red work better midrange instead of everything good in red being made for Red Deck Wins.
Assembled Alphas: A little heavy, yet I like the effect. It has a really good deterrent against wanting to block it.
Collective Defiance: This is a great card to put in the instants and sorceries deck. It's such a cheap escalate cost to get all three abilities!
Borrowed Hostility: getting both for four mana does not seem that great. I would use it for the first ability and call it a day.
Deranged Whelp: Borderline common. I want to build a wolf deck someday.
Brazen Wolves: Limited.
Distemper of the Blood: Limited. I really like the Madness cost of this card.
Falkenrath Reaver: Limited.
Furyblade Vampire: That's a really great effect. With some well timed removal, this card can cause a lot of damage. And I can discard more than one card.
Insatiable Gorgers: I am placing this card in my 'let me think about this card' pile. It's going to die a lot more often than you would want it to. It's slightly aggressive, but not extremely so.
Galvanic Bombardment: very nice. Compare it to Kindle. This one costs one less mana? That's crazy. Yeah, very, very nice.
Impetuous Devils: A mono red version of Spark Trooper from Gatecrash minus the lifelink. I can't wait to play it even if it destined to be a junk rare.
Harmless Offering: Great artwork! So cute! If by target it means you pick the permanent, that is one sweet deckbuilding challenge.
Incendiary Flow: A much needed and missed tool. A better Lightning Strike? I will take it. I even think the rarity bump is worth it.
Make Mischief: Limited.
Nahiri's Wrath: There is a deck out there that can turn casting this card a one shot win and I want to think about it. It definitely reads Mythic.
Mirrorwing Dragon: Because every set needs a Dragon. I want to see how it works if it turns out to be affordable.
Otherworldy Outburst: I love these cards that drop a 3/2 token. This is so much fun to play. I want to play this card bad. And it is a common!
Prophetic Ravings: Versatile, I like it! Wizards keeps making cards to help Tibalt. I am all for that.
Savage Alliance: Versatile is the motto of this set, and this card is representative of that versatility.
Shreds of Sanity: Nice recycling for the instant and sorceries deck.
Thermo-Alchemist: Not bad. Limited, yet not bad. There could even be an instants and sorceries deck in Limited.
Spreading Flames: Another versatile card. A little heavy, yet versatile.
Stensia Innkeeper: Limited.
Stensia Banquet: Limited, and a super fun card. I love these commons in this set. So much fun!
Weaver of Lightning: If you cast a bunch of them, you can take out a big critter with this thing. Nice.
Stromkirk Occultist: Sweet card. I love the free casting effect on a red card. I want to build a sweet red midrange deck some day.

Eldritch Moon Set Review - Black
So far so good, although I didn't get any low cast blue Zombies.
Boon of Emrakul: Limited, yet versatile. It can act as removal, and it can act as a booster.
Borrowed Malevolence: Versatile, and an Instant. That is just great!
Cemetery Recruitment: Limited. I like that clause a lot ("draw a card").
Collective Brutality: this is a great card. The one time cost to trigger three actions is fantastic.
Certain Death: Certainly Limited.
Cryptbreaker: a solid one drop Zombie. I need this card bad. Now we need a Sorcery that reads "untap three creatures you control." Zombie No.1.
Dark Salvation: this is just awesome. I want to play it in a Modern Devotion to Black deck.
Dusk Feaster: I would rather have it as a 5 drop and not have to go to all that trouble. Should have been a common.
Gavony Unhallowed: The counters stay. If you board wipe for 3 or less, this thing can get big. I am not sure why its a common. Zombie No.2.
Markov Crusader: I would have said limited, but in battlecruiser, I guess it should be an uncommon.
Graf Harvest: I think this is a great card. Menace is no joke. And if you have some solid removal, you can help your position with Menace a lot.
Liliana, the Last Hope: aggressively costed, but the abilities are nowhere near as dangerous as Liliana of the Veil. LOTV is so much more powerful. The ultimate is pretty sweet, though. It goes well in a Zombie deck, but I wish the +1 ability had done something for Zombies.
Haunted Dead: You don't want to hard cast this card. You want to discard it, and then cast it from the graveyard. I need more Zombies. Zombie No.3.
Murder: Hello, old friend. Sorry you got bumped from common.
Noosegraf Mob: Zombie No.4. This is a great combo with Proliferate in Modern, but it's a six drop. I guess this one goes for the EDH crowd.
Liliana's Elite: Oh, now we are talking. "for every" is only bested by "draw a card" in what I like to see on a card. Zombie No.5.
Oath of Liliana: That's just too hard a way to drop a Zombie token. There are only so many planewalkers a deck can take, with the exception of the superfriends deck.
Olivia's Dragoon: Limited, still a nice bear.
Prying Questions: Now this would have been awesome with Flashback. It is still good, but more like battlecruiser good.
Rise from the Grave: needed reprint for reanimator.
Ruthless Disposal: Oh, that is so cool. Oh, that is so not playable. Compare to Tragic Slip, and you will know what I mean. One drop gets you one of these -13/-13 fun tricks if a creature has died this turn. That is so much better than this.
Thraben Foulbloods: Limited. Zombie No. 6.
Skirsdag Supplicant: I want to untap it, and do this many times, making sure I have more life. Can this card be broken? Maybe not.
Stromkirk Condemned: Not sure how good this can be. It's not a Zombie, and we don't have any 'play from the graveyard' vampires. I am putting this one in my 'keep thinking about this card' pile.
Strange Augmentation: Limited.
Succumb to Temptation: Great title. I really like this card. It's a needed replacement for Read the Bones, even if not nearly as good.
Tree of Perdition: Compare to Tree of Redemption from Innistrad. That one is in green and you use on yourself. This one you use to trigger Triskaidekaphobia.
Wailing Ghoul: Zombie No. 7. Limited, and a great way to drop early into the graveyard.
Vampire Cutthroat: Solid. As long as you don't bump it up, it will most often be unblockable.
Whispers of Emrakul: Reads like a common.
Weirded Vampire: Limited. I wish there was a better title for this one. It's titled a Vampire and it is a Vampire.
Boon of Emrakul: Limited, yet versatile. It can act as removal, and it can act as a booster.
Borrowed Malevolence: Versatile, and an Instant. That is just great!

Eldritch Moon Set Review - Blue
White was really good. Let's see what Blue has to offer.
Advanced Stitchwing: Another fun addition to my Zombie deck, and also for a future Modern Dredge deck.
Chilling Grasp: Limited. Reads like a common. The Madness cost is one more mana than the normal casting cost?
Coax from the Blind Eternities: About the only thing missing is to let you cast it for free. This is absurdly good. Outside the game can be your sideboard, like the Legacy Wishes. I want to abuse this card.
Enlightened Maniac: It's not a Zombie. That's all I care about for this set. Limited, and interesting.
Displace: this is so awesome. Any format with a double flickerer is a fun format. Strictly worse than Ghostly Flicker from Avacyn Restored (Exile two target artifacts, creatures, and/or lands you control, then return those cards to the battlefield under your control.) but let us not forget than we are in the battlecruiser era of Magic, and that is just fine. Magic does not need the power creep of Yugioh and Pokemon. I have never used Ghostly Flicker on anything other than creatures anyways.
Contingency Plan: Awesome artwork. It's going in my Zombie deck. Nice! A functional reprint of Taigam's Scheming. That's really good. Now when I build a deck and I need four of this effect, I can split them into two of each to guard off against Pithing Needle and other card hosers.
Drag Under: Limited.
Convolute: Battlecruiser Mana Leak is all right for battlecruiser. That extra mana makes all the difference between a card that can be used in all formats and this card.
Exultant Cultist: Limited, and nice. "draw a card" is my favorite phrase on a Magic card.
Fortune's Favor: Interesting Batman's Joker type of artwork. Yet another Fact or Fiction effect (Reveal the top five cards of your library. An opponent separates those cards into two piles. Put one pile into your hand and the other into your graveyard.) Could be titled "Fact or Fiction, Battlecruiser Edition."
Fogwalker: Spirit No.1, Limited.
Geist of the Archives: Spirit No.2, a little heavy and it doesn't have Flying, yet Scry 1 every turn is very good.
Identity Thief: It does not say "under your control." That's a very good phrase to NOT have on this card. You can use one of your creatures with a nice Enters the Battlefield (ETB) clause, or your opponent's creature.
Imprisoned In the Moon: This card oozes versatility. So far this set is oozing versatility. You can hose your opponent out of a color using the land bit, you can neutralize a creature or planeswalker. Great design.
Ingenious Skaab: Limited.
Nebelgast Herald: Flash and Flying on pretty much any card is very good. Spirit No. 3. Versatile indeed.
Laboratory Brute: Limited. A little late to drop those cards in the graveyard, yet a good effect.
Mausoleum Wanderer: Spirit No. 4, reads like an auto-include in Standard Spirits, and a junk rare otherwise. For the first clause, it's until end of turn. For the second clause, you need to sacrifice it.
Lunar Force: Interesting. You can lose it almost as soon as you cast it, yet a counterspell is a counterspell. Of course, your opponent can pitch a lesser spell to get rid of it... I am not sold on this card.
Mind's Dilation: Because EDH only needs one. It will likely replace The Great Aurora in the quirky deck of the format and I am looking forward to that.
Niblis of Frost: Spirit No. 5, I want to play this with the original Tamiyo in a blue/red instant and sorceries deck.
Spontaneous Mutation: Great way to neutralize a creature in Limited, but you have to work hard to select cards that fill your graveyard, and you would corner yourself into Blue/Black.
Summary Dismissal: Against some decks this is a great counterspell. It reads like it will fit only against some decks.
Scour the Laboratory: The Opportunity of this format.
Take Inventory: functional reprint of Accumulated Knowledge, now a Sorcery instead of an Instant.
Wharf Infiltrator: Oh, I really like this one. You can discard a creature card via some other outlet, and the clause still triggers. It's not a Zombie, but we can't have everything.
Tattered Hunter: Limited. Spirit No. 6.
Turn Aside: Limited, reprinted from Scars of Mirrodin.
Unsubstantiate: That's a lot of t's. Should have been a common.

Eldritch Moon Set Review - White
Let's get started.
Blessed Alliance: A truly versatile card. Gaining life usually isn't great, but the other two clauses are very useful. For 6 mana late game you can do a lot with this card. Escalate, I love you.
Borrowed Grace: Escalate reminds me of Kicker. If you play this late game, it really is a 5-mana Instant that boosts +2/+2. You gain versatility, but you lose in the mana cost. Compare with Dauntless Onslaught from Theros, which gives you the full package of +2/+2 for only three mana but you can only apply it to two creatures. This card can be really good if you have, say, ten creatures.
Choking Restraints: A one mana heavier Pacifism, yet a late game exile clause is very good. In a format with a lot of reanimation, I like this clause for more than just Limited.
Collective Effort: So much better than Cohort. You only need to tap ONE creature, and it can be a token. This is so versatile.
Courageous Outrider: Flicker it in Modern and you can go really deep in your deck. It's a great Scry engine. The initial investment puts it in battlecruiser range. At two or three mana, it would be busted.
Dawn Gryff: Limited.
Deploy the Gatewatch: Because in EDH you only need one. Goes well with the planeswalker superfriends deck.
Desperate Sentry: I am surprised that it replaces itself with a bigger creature and only at common. Reads great. I would have read it was a 1/1 token and would have kept my description to 'Limited,' but a 3/2 token is no joke. Also, a colorless token places itself out of many removal spells that depend on a color.
Drogskold Shieldmate: First Spirit I run into. It could be a fun deck like Minotaurs in Theros block. Flash is so useful! Still, you need to have three mana untapped to profit from Flash best.
Faith Unbroken: It has several effects, and that's great. The heavier cost is well warranted. In battlecruiser Magic, this card is full of versatility.
Faithbearer Paladin: Limited.
Fiend Binder: Limited.
Guardian of Pilgrims: It's more than just a Spirit bear. Spirit No. 2.
Geist of the Lonely Vigil: A wall that can hit for two until you get Delirium... I am not thrilled. I have been toying with Delirium, and it's not something that can happen super early unless you flatten the card types to have fewer creatures and then have more of the other card types. It reads like a Limited card even if it's an uncommon. Spirit No. 3
Give No Ground: That is one really cool battle trick. If the creature you are using this on has Deathtouch, that will be one beautiful battle trick.
Ironclad Slayer: That's a very useful Enter the Battlefield (ETB) clause. It reads like an uncommon!
Ironwright's Cleansing: An exile clause is always very good. I like this a lot. It's worth the extra one mana over something like Disenchant (Instant, for 1W, destroy target artifact or enchantment).
Long Road Home: Awesome title... really awesome title. I would use it on one of my creatures with a great ETB clause, or I would use it on an opponent's token in a moment of desperation. Versatile... I keep using that word... am I ordering a booster box of this set? It's looking like I will. Versatile commons and uncommons make a set truly great.
Lunarch Mantle: I am not thrilled by the clause, but the boost for two-mana, I will take that.
Peace of Mind: Nice title. Lifegain usually sucks. It would work well in a reanimation deck for the discard clause, and it's only two mana.
Repel the Abominable: Sideboard against non-Human decks.
Providence: Because EDH needs just one. A junk rare otherwise.
Sanctifier of Souls: Reads like a junk rare. If the +1/+1 stayed, that would be much better. And if you could exile anything in your graveyard, it would be ba-broken.
Steadfast Cathar: Nice Limited card. I am really liking this set already!
Sigardian Priest: Limited.
Selfless Spirit: Spirit No. 4. One time indestructible doesn't sound amazing. If there is an easy way to reanimate it, then I am sold. Otherwise, it's too much of a one-time trick.
Sigarda's Aid: What? Did I just read this card and it is one mana? This is absurd. The abuse you can score with this card in all formats is sooo over the top. You are not paying the equip cost. This is awesome! I am thinking Vintage, even.
Subjugator Angel: It doesn't have Flash or Haste. It needs to combo with something that gives it Haste, and then it's a free hit for four... It's all right.
Spectral Reserves: Limited. and they can be Spirits No. 5 in the Spirits deck.
Thalia, Heretic Cathar: One more mana than the original Thalia, yet it has a really good ability. I really wish this card was NOT Thalia, so I could play it with 2 mana Thalia.
Blessed Alliance: A truly versatile card. Gaining life usually isn't great, but the other two clauses are very useful. For 6 mana late game you can do a lot with this card. Escalate, I love you.

Thraben Standard Bearer: Limited.
