Epic game against a Power Nine deck Part 2

Now it gets ugly.

I get a new hand thanks to Time Spiral.

Here is another Mox.

Here is a second play of Timetwister.

And here is Hurky's Recall, the most valuable card from Tenth Edition.

I now have 11 cards in my hand!

Here comes Windfall.

My opponent is down to 1 life, but Tabasco can sacrifice a land to get 2 life using one of his artifacts, and then he can play that land from the graveyard using Crucible of Worlds.

Epic game against a Power Nine deck Part 1

I will give you the punch line: I lost, of course, but I lost to an incredible deck. There are so many classic plays in this game that I took the time to make a gigantic load of screen shots from which I need to learn. My opponent was gracious and willing to play the game out just to teach me a little and I am very thankful. Tabasco is a class act. Thanks, Tabasco!

I merrily play a couple of my creatures and hit hard.

I guess the tutor was for Timetwister.

Here is the new deck I drew thanks to Timetwister.

Tinker gets my opponent to cast a fatty.

And I am lucky to use Cruel Edict against it.

[Vintage] Blue Black Artifacts

Here is me playing with a play set of Mishra's Workshop and other goodies.

Here is a sample of games. In the first one Dack Fayden took my creature (ouch!).

I lost against an Exalted deck a couple of times.

Here I won against mono-black. Those two Mishra's Workshop enable me to drop one of my fatties.

Here I lorded a couple of cards.

And here I beat a mono-red deck against a somewhat rude player (that felt good, there is no room in Just for Fun for people not to be fun!).

[Modern] Nissa Revane Golgari Vraska Deck

Vraska is great for taking out your opponent's planeswalkers. "Permanent" is a great word on any Magc card.

[Modern] Nissa Revane Selesnya Deck

This deck is all-right. It can take off if none of the mana dorks get bolted.

M15 Prep Online

I could be surprised and get variations of the Planeswalkers, but based on the half decks we are getting the Lorwyn 5 minus Garruk and Nissa Revane. I had already gotten playsets of Ajani Goldmane and Liliana Vess.

We are getting more Slivers. I never did play the M14 slivers. Here they are, complete.I already have one of each for most of M14 just in case I do a redemption.

There is a strong artifact theme to the next block that is getting coverage in M15. I buffed my rare artifacts plus the staffs.

Oh, and don't forget Hive Stirrings (I did!).

And one last card: Nissa's Chosen.

....and one last last thing: Elves!!!

June 26 update: OK, at least Liliana Vess is a reprint. The Chandra is again pyromaster, and Ajani and Nissa Revane are new cards. I am still waiting to find out about Jace.

June 27 update: I got 1 of each for the lands that will be reprinted, and the other 5 I expect will also be reprinted. I am sooooo over-spent because of Vintage Masters! If not, I would have gotten more.

And we are getting a new Jace. That means that I was only able to buy cheap Liliana Vess to play in Standard.

July 4 update: bought some of the most popular yet cheap artifacts from the Scars of Mirrodin block.

July 9 update: I added a few multicolored fun cards from Nyx.

July 10 update: Standard artifacts, including Godsend.
