OK, out go the heavy drops and the Echo cards, in come more Yavimaya Elders and a play set of Thran Foundry (not shown below) to recycle my graveyard.
In only five turns I can have two Sanctuaries and two Elders ready to pop the next turn.
In 8 turns I can win in Solitaire.... that's not great.
Here I pull off the stunt of having all four Sanctuaries on the board in 11 turns of Solitaire.
This is a great board for six turns of this very casual deck.
Here I pull my stunt of four Sanctuaries in 11 turns of Solitaire.
And here I do in 14 turns, which is worse than I attained in my previous version of this deck. Variance is part of Magic.
Even if I am about to mill myself next turn, I can pop one of Thran Foundry before all of the extra draw shenanigans. Here I drop my play set of Sanctuaries in 10 turns.

[Legacy] Ceta {Temur} Sanctuary Build-around Part 1 of 3
Before there were the wedges in Khans of Tarkir block, there were the wedges in Apocalypse. Each one got an enchantment, and here I build a deck around the blue one, Ceta Sanctuary (At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control a red or green permanent, draw a card, then discard a card. If you control a red permanent and a green permanent, instead draw two cards, then discard a card.) After trying out the white enchantment in this cycle, which is all about life gain, I was not impressed. This one really blew my mind. Because you are drawing so much more than one card per turn, it is really easy to draw additional copies of Ceta Sanctuary. After a while, since I am just playing Solitaire, I made it my objective to see how many turns it would take me to draw all four! It takes 12 or so turns and you nearly mill yourself. Here is the deck:
This is like my second Solitaire game ever with this deck, and I landed two Sanctuaries really quickly.
The card draw gets out of hand in a good way really quickly. But if you look at my hand, I am sort of stuck with a couple of 6-drops. This Sanctuary was made for a deck full of 1-drops, 2-drops, and 3-drops.
Yavimaya Elder proved amazing with Ceta Sanctuary. I can pop it for two, get two lands that I can use to discard with Ceta Sanctuary, and then I get to draw a card!
Mana flood....
Even more mana flood.
Once again, as it was the case with the white Sanctuary deck, Dwarven Patrol loves a balanced three color deck.
Yeah, turn 10 and I have three Ceta Santuaries on the board. Only in Solitaire, of course!
I put Echo creatures in this deck... that was a mistake. I want to play as many as my super-draw cards as possible, and for that, I need all the mana I can get my hands on.
Here I have all four Sanctuaries on the board by turn 12.
But I nearly milled myself.
Here is the same result. I can consistently get all four Sanctuaries on the board in 12 turns of S
And unless they are all at the top of my deck, which is only going to happen rarely, I am almost milling myself.
Time to get rid of the big drops, the Echo cards, and to have some way to recycle my graveyard so as to not mill myself.
Link to Part 2, with some major fixes.

[Legacy] Dega {Mardu} Sanctuary Build-around
Before there were the wedges in Khans of Tarkir block, there were the wedges in Apocalypse. Each one got an enchantment, and here I build a deck around the white one, Dega Sanctuary (At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control a black or red permanent, you gain 2 life. If you control a black permanent and a red permanent, you gain 4 life instead.)
Strength of Unity is really good in a three-color deck.
Gaining life isn't the best thing, and this is only a Solitaire experiment. Here, I am gaining 4 life each turn, which does add up.
Here is a fun Solitaire board.
Dwarven Patrol is great in this deck since two thirds of the time I am casting a non-red spell.
I can boost with Dega Disciple, as I did here.
What's better than a Sanctuary on the board? Well... two of them.
Here is a great Solitaire board. There are many ways to expand on this simple experiment, now that wedges have better support.

[Modern] Blue/Black Shadowmoor Devotion
This deck is solid. It needed a good sideboard and it now has one. It also needed some two-drops that are not hybrid mana-costed. It now has those too.
I played a match against elves that I won. I got overwhelmed by the elves during the first game.
Second game I was able to build my army and use Inquisition of Kozilek to take some threats out of the game.
Here is the end of the second game. Same happened during the third game.
That's a great board:
This match, same deal. I lost the first game against some solid reanimation enabled by Sun Titan.
I was able to hit for -1/-1 Wither counters to severely weaken my opponent's field.
This weakening effect bought me time.
I dropped my two Wurmcoil Engines and my opponent removed them once.
And twice... ouch!
My opponent used Pithing Needle on Ashiok.
But they couldn't remove my Steel Hellkite, and I swung with it for the win boosting it with all my mana for several turns 2 colorless for each +1/+0 boost.
