Creature white cards from the 2011 Toolkit

Here is a sample of plains or white creatures from the 2011 Deckbuilder's toolkit. Magic is very rich with various types of creatures. There are major types for every color, and then there are all types of special cases, as well as conditional variations of the main types.

The white creatures are most often Humans and Angels. I am sure expert players will laugh, but I classify the white cards in my mind as life-giving because of the white sorceries and instants that do just that.

Myrsmith, for example, is not just a Human, it is a Human Artificer.I am currently having a lot of fun learning to design powerful decks. One of the mappings I have done for the Innistrad Block is the types of creatures found in each set because many sorceries, instants, enchantments, and artifacts work only on specific types of creatures. These conditional variations are part of the richness of Magic gameplay.

The colorless Myr token is:

Stromftront Pegasus has flying as an ability, which means that it cannot be attacked by creatures that cannot fly. There are artifacts that allow non-flying creatures to fly, and therefore to be able to attack your opponent's flying creatures.

I love it when a card shows not just the ability, but also the explanation for what that ability means for game play. Now I know what vigilance means!
