I am really looking forward to the revival of Brawl in the Fall. In the meantime, here is a current brawl deck in the now dead format. This deck has three cards that work on similar themes: Valduk, Champion of the Flame, and Krenko. It should still do OK with a background of Goblins and a four drop lord. It is definitely not linear. Decisions need to be made about which of these three targets get equipment, auras, or in-battle instant boosts.
Depending on which target shows up, games go in different directions, which is cool. This game has mana screw and was all Valduk.
Here, I gave all equipment to Valduk and attacked with Krenko (unaided).
Here, the enchantment aura went to Krenko, and the equipment to Valduk.
Any one of the three targets can hit hard early.
All Valduk.
Valduk got enchantment auras and Krenko attacked boosted by an instant.

A Brawl Remebrance: Krenko Goblins (War of the Spark)
I am really looking forward to the revival of Brawl in the Fall. In the meantime, here is a current brawl deck in the now dead format. There are more than enough Goblins to make this deck, but there is only one Goblin lord, and a four-drop. I used artifacts from Ixalan block to get some benefit out of running Goblins, yet that's not enough. The Krenko effect can go into some other deck, and that other deck does not need to have any other Goblins. This deck is the epitome of a linear deck: attack with Krenko after making him as big as possible; make more Goblins; win.
These screenshots don't require much of an explanation. They are all about boosting Krenko.
It's nice to fetch more Goblins, but with only one lord in the deck, all of the other Goblins are mostly decorative in this deck.
Krenko can be boosted with an instant. Why not!!
Vanquisher's Banner is the second lord of the deck, but it gets set up even later than Goblin Trashmaster.
Don't you love all those Goblin tokens!?

A Brawl Remembrance: Marwyn Elves (Dominaria)
I am really looking forward to the revival of Brawl in the Fall. In the meantime, here is a current brawl deck in the now dead format. There are barely enough elves to make this deck.
Proliferate works great in this deck.
Here is a Nissa ultimate.
All of the Forests in the deck... nice!
Proliferate doing its thing.
With mana dorks hitting early, the deck beats face fast.
Beast Whisperer is my new best friend.
A reasonable board, but not too many counters.
Still, a Nissa ultimate triggers an avalanche of Proliferate.
The deck does not make enough tokens to boost Woodland Champion. Here is a rare case.
Counters and more counters!!

Animar Commander Elementals [mostly Magic 2020] Part 2
I made a few changes: added some dual lands.
Added a counter-maker, and a big tutor.
Garruk is a little too restrictive, but I think he is better than Regal Force in this deck.
Another manabase helper.
And out of the gate I get mana screwed for Green... it happens.
Biogenic Upgrade at work.
Before Garruk draws me a bunch of cards.
After Garruk draws me a bunch of cards.

After Garruk draws me a bunch of cards.
Even in a mana screw situation, it's easy to build a board with Animar.
Here I tutor for Omnath.
That's enough solitaire of this deck for now.
