Here is a game I won by having Lifelink and Flying... well, by playing my favorite beater in this format, Angel of Invention. My opponent played Verdurous Gearhulk. It's a big threat, but it can't fly!
By the time I cast my second angel, it was over.
My opponent's demon came in too late.
