Recent Core Sets: Color and Card Type Balance

Not counting the dual lands, there are 907 type-unique cards in Tenth Edition, Magic 2010, Magic 2011, Magic 2012, and Magic 2013.

Tribal balance is very much lacking in this type group, as well as in each expansion blocks: too many humans! There are many creature types, and with 28 you have 75.7 percent of all creatures in this selection.
