I opened the first three packs from this booster box this morning and pulled a Koth: very nice! What I want out of this booster box is all of the artifacts to start building an artifacts-only cube. SOM has 88 artifacts, and I pulled 15 of them in just these three packs. I even pulled a foil Mythic Rare
Molten-Tail Masticore. These cards are mostly not tournament staples. Most artifacts slow decks down in an era when all of the colors are very aggro, including, of course, blue with

This block uses the Infect ability. It began with a few cards in this set and their number increased in the next set (Mirrodin Besieged) and climaxed with New Phyrexia, which effectively is "the Infect set."
