Hour of Devastation Prerelease

I had a great experience. As usual, I go with my young son, and he wants me to leave after one match. He knows how to play, but feels too young for all the players at my Local Game Store (LGS).

I went White/Green, and lost the match 0-2, which is what typically happens.

We experienced a wonderful and random act of human kindness. A wonderful gentleman by the name of Jim approached us and asked us if we played Magic. I said yes, but that my son did not like playing against older players, thinking he wanted to play us. Instead, Jim gave my son a bag of recent commons and uncommons, all pack fresh.
